We had a nice weekend. Eric and Melissa came to visit...we hung out and played some games and they got to spend some time with Bryanna. Of course we had to make a trip to Pepe's Pizza (aka Old Reliable). We tried the Pepe's in Bridgeport this time and were not disappointed...it was actually better because we didn't wait in line long and the pizza was just as delicious! They got to witness some of Bryanna's "firsts." They got to see her roll over back to belly for the first time and consistently (4 times in one day!), eat some broccoli and some Pepe's Pizza (just a few small pieces of crust).
I made Scott a birthday cake (butter cream frosting from scratch of course!). I brought it over to our friends, Sue and Craig's house, and we had a little Christmas Party/Scott's Birthday party. It was fun seeing the babies together again!

bouncy, bouncy, bouncy
Happy 6 month birthday Bryanna! I can't believe Bryanna is half way to her 1 year birthday!
Bryanna had her 6 month appointment today. I look forward to the appointments but hate them at the same time. I feel so bad for her when she gets the shots...she looks at me with such desperation and wants me to help her. She weights 18lbs. 9oz. (90th percentile) and is 26in. long (80th percentile). The doctor says she is perfect and has no concerns. She is meeting all of her milestones and is a little ahead with hand coordination and babbling. The most consistent thing she says is babababa but you can also tell she is playing around with her words and making different sounds.
We have to continue the rice cereal in her bottle and with the prevacid. One exciting thing is he said we can start feeding her foods that we are eating. We gave her some potatoes and carrots from the vegetable soup I made tonight. It took her a little while to get the concept of putting it in her mouth but she eventually got it.

We went to Treat Farms in Orange to pick out our Christmas Tree. We had fun walking around the lot looking for our perfect tree. Bryanna actually pointed out this one so, we had to get it (haha). We were looking for a Frasier Fir but ended up with a White Spruce.
Her head looks so tiny in this snow suit
This is the one!
Excited he gets to use some tools
"Look what I did!"
Bryanna has been doing so well sitting up. It seems like she likes sitting up over any other position. I've also noticed her passing things from one hand to the other and reaches for things that are around her.
Such a big girl sitting up on her own
Making funny faces
No more blankets, she can touch the floor!
Mid jump
Lookin' like her Daddy
Having fun with her boyfriend
