Well, Scott went back to work on Monday. Today was much better than yesterday, but it is definitely hard without his help. They say to sleep when the baby sleeps...yeah right! Today started off pretty bad. During this mornings feeding, I changed a pee diaper, then right after that a poopy diaper and as I was putting the 3rd diaper on I heard a noise. I looked down and saw that she had sprayed! I don't know how something so little could shoot that far! Luckily, I only got some on my hand, but the changing table and floor weren't so lucky. I think we have been through 15 diaper changes today, so far, and it's only 6pm. She was crying a lot today, thank God for that bouncy seat (Thank you Grandma Wetzel!). I'm hoping tomorrow will be a little better, it can't hurt to hope...right?

Hi Aunt Jess, thanks for my cute outfit!
Today was a good day - we seem to be back on schedule. We think Bryanna had her 10 day growth spurt yesterday. The changes in sleeping pattern and cluster feedings are a sign of that, so hopefully that is what it was.

I did some more newborn shots today. She was such a good girl and so cute!

We received a card from Great Grandma Batz today. It brought a tear to my eye and wanted to share it.

"If" for Little Girls

If she enchants you from the moment that her tiny life begins,
If she amuses you for hours with her giggles and her grins,
If she's the center of attention anywhere that you may go,
If she still looks like an angel even when she's saying "no,"
If she's the cutest, sweetest baby that you're sure you've ever seen,
If she knows just what she likes and rules your household like a queen,
If she's the laughter and the joy that always give your heart a lift,
Then you surely know a baby girl is life's most precious gift.

Thank you Great Grandma Batz!!

Bryanna was pretty fussy today. I fed her, tried to burp her (still can't get burps out of her), and then blahhhh...she threw up the whole bottle on the couch. Every since then, she has been hungry every hour and we can't get her back on schedule. Hopefully she will be better tomorrow. She should sleep good for how much she has been awake today!

I started the newborn pictures today. She wasn't really in the mood to have her picture taken, so I only got a couple of shots. I'm hoping to do more tomorrow.

We had our 1st pediatric appointment today. Bryanna weighs 8lbs. 3oz.!! The Doc. said she is a perfect little girl. Next appointment in 5 weeks.

She was on a crazy feeding schedule for the first few days but we think we have things on track...for now. She is eating approx. every 3hrs. and is taking 2.5oz. We think we are going to up it to 3oz. for the next feeding - she has been gulping the 2.5oz right down! One thing is for sure, she certainly has a fast digestive system with "presents" in every diaper...she definitely takes after her daddy!

She is very animated with her facial expressions and loves to have her hands by her face. She loves to pose for the camera for mommy....
We were so excited to bring our baby girl home on Friday! Grandma Wetzel, Rick, Grandma & Grandpa Neal & Aunt Jess were here to celebrate her homecoming. Thanks for the beautiful flowers Joan and the awesome cake mom!

Let the sleepless nights begin!

Hi everyone! Scott and I have decided to create a blog to give updates to family and friends about our precious baby girl, Bryanna Faith. As many of you know, she was born Wednesday, June 16th, one day after her due date. I was scheduled for an induction on June 18th, but she had other ideas!! :-) I labored for 15hrs., but it was all worth it in the end to have this precious little one in my arms. She was born at 3:33pm, weighing 7lbs. 12oz., and 21 in. long. Bryanna was greeted by Grandma & Grandpa Neal, Aunt Jess, Grandma Wetzel & Rick, Grandpa Batz & Kelly. Thank you all for making it, we are so happy that everyone was able to make it!!
