Since we have about 3ft of snow on the ground, we decided to get out and try to enjoy the weather and get some exercise. We decided to go down to the beach to try some snowshoeing. The walkway to the beach wasn't shoveled, so we had to walk over the mounds of snow with our snowshoes, baby sled, backpack and a baby. When we finally got to the beach and got our snowshoes on (about 30 minutes after finally getting to the beach) and Bryanna in the sled, we started our journey. Scott fell 2 times, tripping on his snowshoes and as we started walking, Bryanna almost tipped over from falling into Scott's deep tracks. The snowshoes didn't float on the snow like we thought they were going to...they sunk in about a foot. Next we tried to pull Bryanna in between us, with both of us holding the rope. That started to work and we thought we were finally going to get going. We turned around to see how Bryanna was doing and saw that we were flinging snow in her face from the snowshoes...well, that isn't going to work! We only made it like 15ft from where we started so we turned around and went home. Bryanna was such a trooper though. You could see on her face that she wasn't having fun, especially with the snow being blown in her face! I picked her up and she made that pouty face that makes me so sad to see and a little tear trickled down her face....awe!

Bryanna has been awake a lot more lately. Previously, she would be awake for 2hrs. and then want to go down for a nap but we have noticed the last 2 days that it is around 3hrs. She is still taking 3 naps but is awake longer in between.

 Funny face

She's floating on top of the snow right now, Scott had
to push her in a little so that she could sit up

She loves to dump out or take the balls out of the bowl. We are working on putting them back in.

Bryanna's new hairdo!

She still has a few remaining long hairs from birth
I have to keep a closer eye on Bryanna lately. She has been rolling back to belly and belly to back for a while now, but she has recently learned to roll back the opposite way and rolls right across the room!

She has been eating finger foods and jarred foods (stage 2) very well. She will eat 1.5 jars 2 to 3 times a day. She has been practicing the sippy cup for a few weeks now. She will hold the sippy cup to her mouth and chew on the spout but hasn't grasped the concept of tipping it back yet. We have tried 3 different kinds of sippy's and have settled on the Tommy Tippy ones.

She loves to play this game

HA, HAHA, HA

stuck!

We bought a size 18 month snow suit so that Bryanna can grow into it
and we can add layers underneath. It's so big for her! We are hoping
to go sledding this weekend with our new infant sled.
I can't believe our little baby is 7 Months old! I weighed Bryanna this morning and she is 19 lbs!!!

Bryanna started saying Mama a couple of days ago, but she only says it when she is upset or crying. All day long she says Dada, dada but right when she starts getting upset, she cries Mama, mama...

We had a nice weekend with Dave & Kelly. We took them to Pepe's Pizza and they got to spend a lot of time with Bryanna...they even watched her for a few hours while Scott and I went to the movies.

Out of all the toys we have, Bryanna seems to like household items the best. She likes to play with her toys, but never seems to care if you take one away. Recently, we have noticed she really likes remotes, her socks and wash cloths...she even starts to cry when you take them away!

Sock Lovin'

Looking outside at the 14" of snow we got

She absolutely loves this book...especially looking in the mirror
It's so cute...whenever Keeva walks by, Bryanna stops what she is doing and gets all excited, she starts squealing and laughing.

She is actually smiling here
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted...we've all been sick at the Batz house.

I can't get enough of this, probably because it's new, but I don't think it will ever get old. Bryanna started saying dada...it's so cute! She is moving her mouth so differently, like a big girl! Scott said, "she has a different voice and is like a different person..." haha, she is growing up too fast!

We had such a great time over Christmas and New Years! Scott was able to take some vacation time, which allowed us to come home for a full week between Christmas and New Years. We spent Christmas morning in Connecticut, it was nice to start our own Christmas traditions and have Bryanna wake up Christmas morning at her own house. Here is how the rest of the week went:

Saturday: Christmas morning in CT, then drove to Red Creek
Sunday: Bryanna's Baptism in Red Creek, then drove to Rochester to have Christmas with Grandma Wetzel and Grandpa Rick, then back to Red Creek for the night
Monday: Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Neal, bowling in Fulton with all my cousins
Tuesday: Back to Rochester, Wetzel Christmas Party
Wednesday: Visited Great Grandma & Grandpa Batz, Dave & Shannon's
Thurday: Visited Eric & Melissa in Penfield, Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Batz
Friday: Back to Red Creek
Saturday: Drove back to CT

Wow, what a busy week!!!
