We have a scooter on our hands! She is getting pretty fast at it too!

Some pictures from our playdate last week.
I added my etsy store to the right side of the posts in case anyone wants to see what I'm working on!

Bryanna's second tooth is starting to come in...so of course she is pretty fussy. I don't blame her though...I don't understand how some babies aren't even fazed by it...because she definitely is!

Bryanna has been making some funny "words" lately. When she is babbling along she sounds like she is trying to say something to us by using all the sounds that she knows. Some new sounds are nana, yaya...
 Standing like a big girl!
She was playing with her ball and it landed in her hood!

Getting to the floor

 Silly girl - copying daddy

Bryanna had her 9 month appointment yesterday. She only had to get one shot this time...the hep b. She weighs 21 lbs. 11 oz. and is 29 inches long. Both in the 90th percentile...so she has been pretty consistent with that.

Bryanna's eyes have started to change and we are pretty sure they are going to be green like her Daddy's.

I can't believe she is as old as her cousin Paige was when they came to visit last August. I remember thinking...I wonder what Bryanna will look like at that age...7 months later and the time flew by so fast!

I've decided I'm going to post once a week from now on. I'll post updates on Sunday...so it will be easier on me (these hats are taking up a lot of time) and also so you don't have to keep checking to see if I've updated.

Bryanna doesn't really watch TV but when I put Baby Einstein's Baby Neptune dvd in she got so excited. She was most excited when the puppets came on.

I had 8 hats to make this week. I'm down 3, so 5 more to go! This hat business is keeping me pretty busy!

Bryanna is still sick. Her cough sounds so bad and her nose will not stop running. I took her to the doc. yesterday and she has an ear infection along with the cold. She is such a trooper though. She isn't as cranky as I would be in her situation...she still plays and laughs. She is eating a little less than normal and isn't taking naps as usual but that is expected. We are giving her some amoxicillin (yummy...I loved that stuff as a kid!) and Robitussin (yuck! ...actually Scott loves the stuff, I don't understand that!)

This is what a sick babies hair looks like! :-)

She's been interested in holding her own bottle lately. I wasn't looking forward to this day because I love the time we spend together when I feed her. I cherish every moment when I feed her and try to soak it all in and even though I do that, there still isn't enough time. She is growing up way to fast and I can't slow it down!

We were getting a little concerned that Bryanna didn't want to bear any weight on her legs. When we lift her up, she would put her legs in the air at a 90 degree angle, like she is getting prepared to sit, and would hold her legs up like that until we put her down to sit. I remember she would stand up at a couple of months old, but we stopped standing her up, which is maybe why she wasn't interested in it? This past week I have been practicing standing with her and I guess that is all it took because she stands so well now.

I'm beginning to think that Bryanna is going to skip crawling and go straight to walking. She is perfectly content barrel rolling around the house and spinning around on her belly. She can get to where she wants to go, so she hasn't really tried getting up on her knees. We will see!

Mimicking Daddy

So we are starting to think that the reason Bryanna was so fussy last week was because she had a sore throat. She is definitely still sick with a runny/stuffy nose and very phlegmy. Scott caught whatever Bryanna has and his symptoms were a very sore throat. If only babies could talk and tell you what is wrong! Besides being really fussy, there weren't any other symptoms to tell us she was sick. She was still her happy self....now that she has a runny/stuffy nose, it is pretty obvious.

Bryanna started waving today...it's so cute!

Here, mommy!
We had so much fun at the pool. We couldn't wait to see how Bryanna would react to the water. She did really well and seemed to like it. We both got in the water with her and placed her on some floaty devices and held her on her belly and back to get used to the water. Scott is counting down the days until her next lesson!

Bryanna has been saying mama the last couple of days. Actually, she says mmmmm, mmmmom, MOM, mama and mamamama. She still says BOB, whoever that is!, and DAD, dadadada, bababa.
