We had a nice weekend with Eric and Melissa! Nice weather, finally! We took them to the Bronx zoo...Melissa was sooo excited! It was their first time going there and also a first for Bryanna. Of course we had to stop at Pepe's Pizza on the way home!

We have weened Bryanna down to 2 bottles a day. She is drinking more out of the straw cups. She only wanted one bottle today (bedtime), so hopefully we will be bottle free by 1 year!
We've noticed Bryanna is starting to associate her words with things. The one she says most often is nana...which means I'M HUNGRY!! Baba means bottle but it also means Mommy, baby, ball. We will say to her, "Say mama" and she repeats baba, or "Say ball" ...baba. She said babo quite a bit today but we have yet to figure out what that means. Actually, the last couple of days it's like she is saying whole sentences with basically the same sounds but her voice goes up and down...she does this a lot when she is playing by herself.

Less than a month and she will be 1!!!

Are you done yet?

We had a nice weekend in Rochester for Logan's bday and first communion. Bryanna had a lot of fun visiting her cousins.

Bryanna starting trying to comb her own hair today. It was so cute and then she leaned over and started to try to comb mine. Love that girl!

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommies out there!

Today was one of the best days ever! Bryanna got me this very cute plaque that has our names on it, the date and says, "Our First Mother's Day" along with a picture of us. I love it! ...and Scott put a nice note in there and booked me a Spa day! What a perfect family I have!

Bryanna started sitting herself up...very exciting! We seem to miss it every time - the first time she was in the dining room laying down, Scott and I were in the kitchen and when we went back into the dining room she was sitting up. The second time we found her sitting up in her crib just looking around...we made sure to lower the crib all the way!

The first time moving her feet forward on her own

The day started by Bryanna and Scott letting me sleep in, then we went to a park and watched Scott fish while Bryanna and I played on a blanket...it was such a perfect first Mother's Day!

I love this in b&w
watching Daddy fish

love her little feet!

First fish that Bryanna has ever seen

Bryanna stayed on the blanket the whole time. When she would
get close to the edge, she seemed scared of the grass and
didn't want to touch it...it was so funny!

Hates the grass!

love her hair!
We went to the Daffodil Festival in Meriden today with our friends Beth, Jimmy and Elsie. It was one of the best days we have had so far. There were supposed to be thousands of daffodils, but for some reason most of them were already dead, but the park was really pretty and we had so much fun.

Long day, passed out the second we started driving
