We were lazy and didn't get Bryanna's presents wrapped until a few days after her birthday. We got her a puzzle, bath letters, a laptop, and ride on giraffe. She seemed to know what to do when we gave her the presents and went right for the seem...she's so grown up now!

We had a nice visit from Grandma & Grandpa Neal (and Lady & Tramp) this weekend...Bryanna loves the puppies! She has learned to instantly turn away when they come over to try and prevent getting licked all over!

We went to the beach on Saturday. Bryanna loves the beach and has so much fun playing in the sand...and eating it! Then we took them downtown to Archie Moore's and ate outside on the deck. After dinner, we walked over to the park and Bryanna got to swing...this is one of the fun things we like to do.

For Father's Day, Bryanna got Scott a Chia Pet!!... just what he always wanted! She also made him a card with her beautiful coloring skills and made him a stepping stone that she put her footprints into. We finished the day by having a picnic at the park.

Grandma and Grandpa brought Bryanna's birthday gifts...she got her first pair of real shoes!

and some crayons too! Look at her coloring skills!

Bryanna had her 1 year doc. appointment today. This appointment was brutal! Luckily she only got 2 shots but she was crying so hard...I felt terrible for her! Then, after the shots, she got her finger pricked! Poor thing! She weighs 23lbs. 12oz. and is 30.25" long. Both in the 85 percentile...she is perfectly healthy!

Last night was her first night without a bottle before bed and she did so well. I miss feeding her but I DON'T miss cleaning those Dr. Browns bottles!

She has been pulling herself up to her knees and today she almost pulled herself up to standing.

We started off the day by doing a photo shoot behind our condo. It was nice getting outside that early but it was hard doing it by myself. It is definitely easier having another person there to distract Bryanna and take the leaves and sticks away from her mouth. I love all of her goofy faces!

We decided to wait until Bryanna turned one to give her cake. She isn't the overly curious type, so we figured she wouldn't go crazy smashing into it. She daintly put her finger in the frosting and ate some. By the looks on her face, you could tell she loved it! I'm surprised she didn't get sick from all the frosting!

Bryanna's Likes: Playing peekaboo (she puts something in front of her face and then removes it), "So Big" (we say how big is Bryanna and "So Big" and she raises her arms up), putting baby in her stroller, follow mommy everywhere around the house, especially to the bathroom, closing the bathroom door and opening all the doors/drawers in the house, nesting blocks and watching Baby Einstein.

Bryanna's Dislikes: Walking. She can walk pretty good while holding onto your hands but after a little bit wants to stop and sit. She will hold onto furniture really well, but when we stand her up to hold onto the stroller, you can tell she gets scared. I think the fact that she doesn't know how to get down is the scary part.

Bryanna had been down to 1 bottle the past couple of weeks. She gets organic whole milk for meals and half formula/milk before bed. I'm not looking forward to getting rid of that one! Not only will Bryanna be sad, but I will too :-(. I do miss feeding her during the day and so I cherish the night time one. She is growing up too fast!

We have been living in our kiddie pool this week. It was 90 degrees almost every day.

and hiding out in Bobby's sprinkler

This is what happens when you wear a regular diaper
in the water, it soaks up all the water in the
pool and gives you a shelf butt and a FUPA

BFF's

Bryanna's top tooth finally popped through! That tooth was the culprit of 2 weeks of pain and suffering, thank God it's out! It came out on Tuesday of last week.

I don't know how I got a cold, and it's so weird having one when the weather is so nice, but I've been dealing with one for a few days now. I think Bryanna may have given it to me. She seemed a little cranky (after the tooth came through) and extra sleepy, so I assume it was her.

We went to the park today so Scott could go fishing. Bryanna and I just hung out on the blanket and watched....and ate some crackers! :-)

I was calling her name to look at me and she leaned
in and made this face...I was pretty scared! LOL

Love those feet!

"Look at my new pj's!"
