Bryanna is catching on to new words pretty fast. Her newest words are ducky, bubble and toe. We were blowing bubbles last week and she kept calling them balls. Scott kept telling her they were bubbles and that caught on...here is a clip

She has been so attached to her blankie lately so we have to take it everywhere with us. We have two blankie's but the problem is they aren't exactly the same and she knows it! I have to strategically plan on washing the one she likes (every day now!) and make sure it is dry before she naps or goes to bed. We've run into a couple of situations where we had to give it to her a little damp so she would go to bed. I even looked online for an identical one and can't find it!

Bryanna loves her new baby. We decided it was time to "upgrade" to a harder baby and I think that she thinks it is real. She loves to feed it the bottle and give it a binky. I looked over yesterday and she took a wipe out of the wipes case and was washing the babies face with it...LOL, it was so cute!
What a busy week we have had! It was so nice having the week off and spending time with family. Bryanna really enjoys seeing everyone. It's the most time she has spent with her cousins so far and it's so fun to watch them interact. I can't believe how nice the weather has been and it has allowed us to spend lots of lazy days outside by the pool. We got the chance to do many things that we don't normally get to do including watch Ayla's soccer game, have a sleepover at Dave & Shannon's, see all the grandparents, go camping, play golf, go boating, go on some nice walks with family, and eat 2 bbq chicken dinners!

We headed to Rochester on Monday night and slept over at Dave and Shannon's. The kids thought it was the type of sleepover where we would all sleep in sleeping bags on the living room floor and Logan called sleeping next to Uncle Scott! LOL. We ended up sleeping in Ayla's bed with Paige and Bryanna while Ayla got to sleep in Logan's room. Scott went fishing with Dave and Logan early in the morning while the girls went grocery shopping...how typical! We did the pool thing and then met Eric and Melissa at Cheeburger Cheeburger at Charlottle Beach...which has delicious burgers by the way! Eric ate the ONE pounder and that accomplishment got his picture on the wall. If you are ever at Cheeburger Cheeburger, look for proud Eric holding his stuffed toy cheeseburger along with his proud niece and nephew with huge grins on their faces. Then we took a nice walk down the pier, rode the carousel, and finished off the day with some chocolate custard with cookie dough topping from Abbott's (Scott had chocolate almond with cookie dough topping). It was Bryanna's and my first Abbott's experience and we both loved it! What a long day and Bryanna did great!

we had some fun with the camera while Bryanna was napping

Paige kept flying off the slide and going back for more

We had a nice dinner Wednesday night at Grandma and Grandpa Ricks. Then, we finally decided to give Bryanna a hair cut. It wast too difficult to keep it out of her face and she wouldn't keep any clips in. We were thinking to have more of an angle cut but it ended up straight across...it's still cute though!

Thanks for the haircut grandma!

Thursday evening we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Kelly's house for a nice dinner and to spend some time with them, it was nice seeing you guys!

We headed back to Red Creek Friday evening. Saturday was a fun day in Red Creek. We got lucky and it was the weekend where everyone in downtown has a yard sale. We decided to walk over and check it out. I was hoping I could find some photography props and at the least some good people watching! We had a good time walking around, stopped at Aunt Frieda's, then walked back home. We walked a good 5 miles, which is pretty much all of Red Creek!!! Bryanna enjoyed somemore pool time and swinging on Grandma and Grandpa's swing set. Oh yeah, Scott got to experience liver for the first time....gross!!!

Bryanna started pointing today. She started doing it to Grandma and Grandpa's ball and saying BALL!
Bryanna has been so active and talkative this past week. Her words are uh-oh (when she drops something), baby, ball, and calls dada and mama (bwah-bwah, she still hasn't gotten that mmm sound yet when she calls me but will say it when she is babbling). She has also pulled herself up to standing, crawled up steps and started crawling on her knees.

We had great 4th of July weekend. Bryanna had her 1st birthday party at North Ponds Park in Webster, NY. It was so nice seeing everyone and she got some great gifts! Thanks everyone! Her cake came out soooo cute and the smash cake was adorable too! (thanks Grandma Wetzel!)

We had some fun boating with Grandma and Grandpa on Lake Ontario. They were camping in Fair Haven over the weekend, so we went to visit and got to go on a boat ride! Bryanna hated the life vest and water, but didn't mind hanging out in the boat. The water was in the mid 70's so we went for a dip and Bryanna hated it! I couldn't tell if it was because the water was on the cooler side or if it was because it's such a large area of water. She gets nervous at our beach too when we try to put her in the ocean.

Lounging in the pool

Grandma Neal, Diane and Bryan came over for 4 of July festivities.
