I can't believe it's July already! I can remember thinking when I was pregnant that it would never end, and now my little Bryanna is 2 weeks and 1 day old! Everyone told me that time will fly once she is here...it is just going by too fast! I wish I could freeze time so I could cherish her at this age a little bit longer. Her newborn clothes are getting tight so I put her first 0-3 month outfit on. She has 31 0-3 month outfits (excluding onsies and layettes) which means we need to start wearing them to get at least one use out of them!
I spoke to the Dr. yesterday about her constant "poofing" ("poopy gas," as Grandma Neal calls it, or "foof" like Grandma Wetzel), runny poopys, fussing and crying. The Dr. told us to try Enfamil Gentlease. We started on that yesterday and it has been working pretty good so far, plus she likes the taste of it better. We have less fussiness and crying, and less poops, which are a little more solid. She is still a pee machine though! To think that we were worried in the Hospital that she wasn't peeing...she is definitely making up for that now!
Developments: A few days ago, I read in the "What to Expect Book," that when your gazing into your babies eyes to try things like sticking your tongue out or raise your eyebrows to see if she will mimic it. I've been sticking my tongue out at her and the past two days she has been doing it back. It could be coincidence but I'd like to think she is learning! Her neck is getting pretty strong, she can hold her head up for a few seconds and turn it from side to side when on her stomach. She has also started following me with her eyes when I move side to side and she responds to noise.
1st outfit for today (Daddy bought this one)
The "pee machine" got the first outfit!
I love when she does this! Her stretching can get out of control sometimes, it's so funny
