HAPPY FIRST HALLOWEEN BRYANNA!

We decided to take a walk tonight and noticed there was something going on by the Walnut Beach Creamery tonight. We walked over and there was a little party going on where some Ghouls and Goblins were throwing candy off the roof and everyone was waiting for the Walnut Beach Witch! We decided to run back home and get Bryanna in her costume so she could experience the fun. We ended up bumping into a friend from BIC and he told us that we just might know the Witch. We got back to the party just in time to meet the Witch (someone Scott works with). Bryanna was so good, just looking around at everything...next year I'm sure she would be scared of her. Dan Patrick's (former ESPN anchor) wife owns the Creamery and is friends of the "Witch" so Bryanna got to meet her (of course Scott was excited that Dan Patrick's wife touched Bryanna!)

Bryanna grabs her toes all the time now. We noticed it two days ago and she just keeps grabbing them, it's so cute!

Bryanna's Torticollis has improved. It was pretty bad for a few days and now it is back to normal. We had PT on Tuesday and she said she looks very good and didn't notice a setback. She said sometimes Torticollis babies have minor set backs but by the time they are 6 months old and sitting is when you really determine if it's still there or not. She wants us to continue every other week until early December.

We have a pretty good schedule going now. It's been pretty consistent for the past few weeks. Wake at 8am., eat (7 oz.), play, nap around 9:30am, wake up around 11:30am, play, eat around 12pm (7 oz.), play, nap around 2:30pm, eat (7 oz.) at 4pm, play, short nap 6:30-7pm, play, eat 8pm (7 oz.), then bed.

She's still talking and razzing a lot. She does really good on her belly now but I think that is because she knows how to roll over. It's so funny, the minute she goes on her tummy she rolls right over. I have to put my hand on her back to prevent her from rolling so she can still build some neck strength.

She is doing so well with her feedings. No more fussing with the bottle, it's so easy to feed her now...10 minutes tops! Yesterday, she was opening her mouth wide to take the solid food off the spoon. We have tried sweet potatoes and squash but she prefers the rice cereal. She lets us know when she has had enough because she starts blowing raspberries and the food flies all over the place!

hmm...what do I do with this?!

We had a girls day today...Bryanna and I went shopping. I can't tell you how many Grandmas came up to her, "Oh, how cute, how old is she?" My response, "4.5 months," their response, "Wow! She's big!"....gee, thanks ladies! I think Bryanna had enough...she was talking and looking at the last lady and the lady decided to touch her ear...Bryanna did not like that! She went from happy and talking, to screaming ("Who the heck are you!")...then right after we left, Bryanna started talking again.

We had a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Neal. I think Bryanna is starting to recognize them now, she started smiling when she saw them. We took them to our favorite walking trail and did 4 miles! ...it was so pretty with all the leaves changing. Bryanna was so funny during our walk, she was making this really funny face over and over and razzing like crazy.

Grandpa trying to feed Bryanna
Bryanna had her 4 month appointment today. She is 25.5 inches long and 16.2 lbs.! She is following in her mommy's footsteps...I had similar stats when I was her age. She is in the 90th percentile for length and weight. The doctor said it's good that the numbers match up, that means she is growing good and very healthy. If she was in the 90th percentile for length and 10th for weight, she would be too skinny...that is how that works. We have to continue PT, Bryanna's torticollis has gotten worse over the last couple of days. He says it could be because of her sleeping on it wrong or turning it wrong. He also said we could start her on solids so we decided to try the sweet potatoes. It was pretty funny to watch her face, you could tell she didn't know what to think about it.

Bryanna was so cute yesterday. We had her on the changing table right before bed and she would not stop laughing. She was laughing so hard and had both of us laughing right along with her that our faces were hurting.

So, we finally bought some baby oil and are going to use that to "tame" Bryanna's hair....it's out of control!

Bryanna has her 4 month appointment tomorrow...not looking forward to the shots but I can't wait to find out how much she has grown!

It's so easy to make her laugh! It's one of our favorite things!

Blowing raspberries...we were going back and forth for 10 to 15 min.

She likes to hold her baba

Almost too big for the Bumbo!
Bryanna slept 11 hrs. last night! We put her down a little after 8pm and she slept until 7am! This is the first time that she went that long without waking up to eat for wanting the binky...lets hope this continues!

Yesterday we took Bryanna upstairs and Scott laid her down for a nap. I went over to the crib and she was on her belly! I thought Scott had laid her down like that but she had rolled over from her back to her belly!

Check out that hair!
Bryanna is 4 months old today!!!! The last couple of nights have been good. Bryanna is sleeping from 8pm to 4am, without waking up in between for the binky. She is awake for a lot of the day now and sometimes it's hard to figure out what to do with her. We will feed her, play with her, do stretches and exercises, walk around and then cuddle and she is still awake. This morning she was up from 7am to 12pm, took a 1.5hr nap and then was up until 8pm...she just didn't want to sleep today for some reason. (I feel like I've posted this before??).

I found a really cool site that will allow me to make a hard cover book of my blog. I'm going to wait until Bryanna is 1 year old to do it. I'm really excited about this because this Blog is basically my diary and it will be a nice keepsake for Bryanna. The website is http://blog2print.sharedbook.com if anyone is interested.

I was wondering what the noise was that was coming from the bedroom?! A couple of days ago Bryanna started sucking her top lip...it's hysterical to watch. Her top lip crinkles up and looks a little like my "cat face." (The best part is around the 30 second mark)

For those of you who don't know what my cat face is, I used to
make this face in High School...don't ask me why...I was just so mature!
