October 28, 2010 - Torticollis Better, Schedule, Developments

Bryanna's Torticollis has improved. It was pretty bad for a few days and now it is back to normal. We had PT on Tuesday and she said she looks very good and didn't notice a setback. She said sometimes Torticollis babies have minor set backs but by the time they are 6 months old and sitting is when you really determine if it's still there or not. She wants us to continue every other week until early December.

We have a pretty good schedule going now. It's been pretty consistent for the past few weeks. Wake at 8am., eat (7 oz.), play, nap around 9:30am, wake up around 11:30am, play, eat around 12pm (7 oz.), play, nap around 2:30pm, eat (7 oz.) at 4pm, play, short nap 6:30-7pm, play, eat 8pm (7 oz.), then bed.

She's still talking and razzing a lot. She does really good on her belly now but I think that is because she knows how to roll over. It's so funny, the minute she goes on her tummy she rolls right over. I have to put my hand on her back to prevent her from rolling so she can still build some neck strength.

She is doing so well with her feedings. No more fussing with the bottle, it's so easy to feed her now...10 minutes tops! Yesterday, she was opening her mouth wide to take the solid food off the spoon. We have tried sweet potatoes and squash but she prefers the rice cereal. She lets us know when she has had enough because she starts blowing raspberries and the food flies all over the place!

hmm...what do I do with this?!
